Who is responsible

Battuvo is an independent sole proprietorship based in Ontario, Canada. We are responsible for personal information we collect. Questions or requests: support@battuvo.com.

What we collect

• Order details: the plan you chose, price, order dates and status.
• Contact and billing details: your email address and billing country, received from Stripe when you pay. Stripe collects your card and billing address; we do not receive your full card number.
• Support messages you send us.
• Technical information: our hosting provider records IP addresses and request details in server logs.
• Browser storage: your chosen display currency and cached exchange rates are stored in your browser. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Why we use it

To deliver your eSIM, send order emails, provide support, prevent fraud and meet accounting and tax obligations. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

• Stripe processes payments and helps prevent fraud.
• Resend delivers our order emails.
• Railway hosts our website and order database.
• Our eSIM suppliers receive an order reference to issue your eSIM. We do not send them your name or email address.
• ExchangeRate-API: your browser requests currency rates directly from this service, which can see your IP address.

These providers may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible under local law.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes, generally six years, and support messages for up to two years. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.

How we protect it

Installation details are encrypted at rest, order pages use private links, and access to order records is limited to the operator.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent for uses that aren’t needed to provide your order. Email support@battuvo.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
